To keep it short and sweet ... there are no liver lesions to be seen. They are gone.
My bones also look very good, with more healing than disease.
In other words, this is the best scan I've had since my Stage IV diagnosis back in January 2013.
I continue to give thanks for each day and now I can celebrate that as of right now, it looks like I will have a good number of days. Granted, the cancer can flare up with a vengeance and it can get ugly very quickly, but this is not expected to happen anytime soon. I will continue my current treatment plan of Xeloda (two weeks on/one week off) and Xgeva (bone strengthening shot every four weeks ... which is being changed to every six weeks now). I will continue to have blood work every three weeks.
I am one very grateful woman.
Thank you for your continued love and support in this journey. Words fail me when it comes to how I feel about the relationships in my life.
Go out and live your daily miracle!
